How do you take a centuries old game into the 21st century?
For 100+ years, golf has been slow to evolve beyond its traditional, older, and old-fashioned image. 18 Birdies set out to change that with a high-tech mobile app and asked several agencies to develop an introductory manifesto and video to build awareness.
Our proposal took golf’s less than inviting perception - play our game our way - and turned it around to - play your game your way.
We created an upbeat, modern brand position and anthem that got a new generation thinking in a new way about the old-school sport— a more diverse, inclusive POV about the game, the players, and alternative ways to play.
We brought this vision to life with unexpected visuals and the relaxed vibe of the pop-soul classic, “This I How We Do It.”
